Joey Hawkins the owner/operator is the only bricklayer in Nova Scotia to receive 3 consecutive Gold medals in the NSCC Skills Competitions, allowing him to be granted with 3 paid trips around Canada competing on the National team.
Only a short time after this he worked hard studying endlessly to earn his Red Seal Certification after completing his Apprenticeship journey.
While focusing on future growth he decided to start his own business where he went on to win the Apprenticeship of Excellence Award from the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency, which he holds close to his heart.
Joey believes nothing is more gratifying than helping others be better in their craft to help support themselves as well as their family.
Joey's hard work lead him to the honour of being one of the first people in Nova Scotia to get presented with a Blue Seal Business Trades Certification from our very own NSCC.
All while completing these accomplishments Joey decided to earn his Wett Certification to sharpen his skills in the chimney sector of the trade.
